Part of the committee of Transition Uelzechtdall spent an agreeable day in Esch-sur-Alzette alongside members of Transition Minett (http://www.transition-minett.lu/) in order to get to know some of their projects.
The day started off with a visit and an exchange with Facilitec, a factory of alternative collaborations and local and innovative initiatives aiming towards a circular economy. A place rooted in its territory, co-managed and co-constructed by the collective intelligence of its members. The place was co-renovated via participative construction work and the use of reused materials (more information https://facilitec.lu).
After a delicious lunch at Mesa – the home of Transition in Esch (see FB page), the trip ended with a small guided tour of the facilities.
Mesa was created by the non-profit Transition Minett and proposes a variety of activities and supports other local initiatives. Be sure to visit their bulk products shop as well as their vegetarian restaurant.

Une partie du comité de Transitioun Uelzechtdall s’est fait le plaisir de passer une journée agréable à Esch-Uelzecht en compagnie de membres de Transition Minett (http://www.transition-minett.lu/) afin de découvrir leurs projets.
La journée a débuté avec une visite et un échange chez Facilitec, une fabrique des alternatives collaboratives, des initiatives locales et innovantes concourant à l’économie circulaire. Un tiers-lieu ancré dans son territoire, cogéré et co-construit par l’intelligence collective de ses membres. Après un délicieux déjeuner chez Mesa – la maison de la transition à Esch (voir leur page sur FB), l’excursion s’est terminée avec une petite visite guidée de ce tiers-lieu de la transition au sud du Luxembourg.
Mesa, une création de l’asbl Transition Minett, propose une variété d’activités et soutient d’autres initiatives locales. N’hésitez pas à visiter Mesa avec son magasin en vrac et régalez-vous dans son restaurant végétarien ! 😉
